    Astros Foundation volunteer corps, Astros Season Ticket Holders, Astros Youth Academy members and families and Astros front office staff will volunteer at the Houston Food Bank's main warehouse.

    Shriners Hospitals for Children and the Astros Foundation host children with physical and development challenges for their chance to live out a professional baseball experience. Teams from local Miracle League, YMCA and Little League Challenger Division programs will take the field at Minute Maid Park.

    Astros mascot Orbit and front office staff members volunteer at the monthly Sunshine Kids party at MD Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital.

    The Astros will host the Star of Hope's Women and Families Emergency Shelter for a Christmas party in Union Station at Minute Maid Park. Guests will be treated to a sit-down dinner, a special performance by the Singing 'Stros and photos with Orbit.
  • Fri, Dec. 16 | Star of Hope Volunteer Day
    Astros front office staff volunteers assist with meal preparation and lunch service at the Star of Hope Women and Family Emergency Shelter.
  • Mon, Jan. 16 | Day of Service
    250 Astros front office staff and Astros Foundation volunteer corps will help at the Houston Food Bank's main warehouse in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service.
  • Fri, Jan. 20 | Diamond Dreams Gala
    The 2017 Diamond Dreams Gala will feature baseball Hall of Famers, Astros stars and legendary signer & songwriter Diana Ross! The event will benefit New Hope Housing, an organization combatting homelessness by providing housing and support services for those in need, as well as the Astros Foundation.

The official 501(c)3 team charity of the Houston Astros, the Astros Foundation, seeks to harness the passion of baseball fans to support youth baseball and softball programs serving at-risk children and teens. Our cornerstone initiatives include the Community Leaders program, the Astros Youth Academy and the Astros RBI Program.
