1. What is a Tickets@Phone?

Tickets@Phone is a new method of delivery that expands your options of how you receive your tickets. With Ticket@Phone, your tickets are delivered to your cell phone via a standard text type message allowing you to use your cell phone as your ticket! The Tickets@Phone message contains a unique barcode and the usual ticket information, e.g., game date, time, section, row, seat, etc... you simply save the Tickets@Phone ticket in your messages inbox and retrieve it when you arrive at the game.

2. How do I choose Tickets@Phone?

On the payment page check the "or" box under Delivery Information and select Mobile Phone Ticketing from the drop-down list. Then follow the prompts to select your wireless carrier, and handset make/model.

3. How do I get in to the event?

You will need to enter through a designated gate at the stadium; this gate location will be specified in your purchase confirmation e-mail and in the text message you receive on your phone with your tickets. To gain entry, you'll need to retrieve the barcode from your messages inbox and present it to be scanned. As each Tickets@Phone barcode is scanned, a paper ticket is automatically printed and presented to you as you enter the stadium. Each ticket holder must retain their own paper ticket throughout the game.

4. What if the barcode on my cell phone can't be scanned?

The barcode that you receive in your Tickets@Phone ticket is accompanied by a number. If there are difficulties reading the barcode, the ticket taker can manually enter the barcode number into the scanning device to validate your Tickets@Phone ticket.

5. How is my Tickets@Phone ticket delivered?

The Tickets@Phone ticket is delivered as a Multimedia (MMS) or WAP message to your phone and will appear in your inbox like any other message.

6. What does a Tickets@Phone ticket look like?

A Tickets@Phone ticket contains a unique barcode, a barcode number and the customary ticket information that you are familiar with seeing on a paper ticket such as game date, time, section, row, seat, etc... you simply save the Tickets@Phone ticket in your messages inbox.

7. When is the Tickets@Phone ticket delivered?

The Tickets@Phone ticket is delivered within a short time after you purchase the ticket. Typically, you will receive your ticket in under a few minutes, but delivery times may vary according to network conditions and the wireless subscriber's whereabouts related to cellular coverage.

8. What if I order more than one ticket?

Each ticket purchased on a single order will be sent as a separate text type message, e.g., if you purchase 3 tickets, you will receive 3 separate text messages. Each message will need to be saved and produced at the stadium to evidence entry.

9. What if my phone is not compatible?

Any phone that can browse the Internet or receive an MMS message can receive a Tickets@Phone ticket. However, some handsets do not support WAP or MMS, in which case you will receive a text-only message with the barcode number in the text. When you arrive at the game, the ticket taker can manually enter the barcode number into the scanning device to validate your Tickets@Phone ticket.

Remember, even if your phone is not listed, as long as your phone can receive a text message you can still receive a Tickets@Phone ticket. Just select your wireless carrier, for phone make, choose "Text", and model, choose "Only" as your mobile type.

10. What do I do when I receive my Tickets@Phone ticket?

You simply donít delete it but you may need to store the picture message in your phone using a Save option. At the Stadium you will need to call-up the picture message to have the barcode scanned.

11. What if I do not receive my Tickets@Phone ticket?

If your phone is switched on and you have not received your Tickets@Phone ticket by the end of the day, please first try switching your phone off and on. When you purchase your Tickets@Phone ticket, you will also be sent an e-mail with a link to a duplicate Tickets@Home ticket. This ticket may be printed out and presented at the stadium instead of the Ticket@Phone ticket. Your Tickets@Home ticket should only be used if your mobile phone is lost; damaged; or you otherwise delete the text message containing your ticket. The purchaser understands that both ticket forms contain the same barcode number. That number is only valid for a single entry.

12. What if I delete my Tickets@Phone ticket by mistake?

Send a text message to 77063 with the word Resend as the only text, within a couple of minutes you should receive your tickets again. Note that using this method will resend all tickets you purchased, including any other future game tickets previously purchased.

Also, when you purchase your Tickets@Phone ticket, you will also be sent an e-mail with a link to a duplicate Tickets@Home ticket. This ticket may be printed out and presented at the stadium instead of the Tickets@Phone ticket. Your Tickets@Home ticket should only be used if your mobile phone is lost; damaged; or you otherwise delete the text message containing your ticket. The purchaser understands that both ticket forms contain the same barcode number. That number is only valid for a single entry. If you arrive at the game without either your Tickets@Phone or your Tickets@Home, you will be directed to the stadiums "Will Call" box office window where you will need to present your photo ID and the credit card you used to purchase the ticket(s).

13. What if I change my cell phone or it is lost or stolen?

If your cell phone is stolen contact Tickets.com at 877-893-2827 or MobileHelp@tickets.com immediately; your original Tickets@Phone ticket(s) will be cancelled and you will be able to pick-up reprinted tickets at the stadium's "will-call" box office window. When you purchase your Tickets@Phone ticket, you will also be sent an e-mail with a link to a duplicate Tickets@Home ticket. This ticket may be printed out and presented at the stadium instead of the Tickets@Phone ticket. Your Tickets@Home ticket should only be used if your mobile phone is lost; damaged; or you otherwise delete the text message containing your ticket. The purchaser understands that both ticket forms contain the same barcode number. That number is only valid for a single entry.

14. What does it cost to receive a Tickets@Phone ticket?

All fees related to the actual Tickets@Phone ticket(s) are included when you buy the ticket. However your cellular carrier may charge a fee to deliver MMS, WAP, and/or text messages to your cell phone. Please consult your cellular plan for any charges associated with receiving text messages.

15. Will my cell phone number be used for any other purpose?

Your cell phone number will only be used to delivering your Tickets@Phone ticket. If you have opted in to receive text messages & updates, you may also be contacted by the team's web site & MLB.com. Please see the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for more information.

16. Can I forward my Tickets@Phone ticket to a friend?

No. Forwarding or otherwise transferring a Tickets@Phone message will result in the ticket(s) being invalidated without the right to a refund. Each Tickets@Phone ticket is valid for one-time entry for a single seat.

17. What happens if I forget my phone or my battery dies at the stadium?

When you purchase your Tickets@Phone ticket, you will also be sent an e-mail with a link to a duplicate Tickets@Home ticket. This ticket may be printed out and presented at the stadium instead of the Tickets@Phone ticket. Your Tickets@Home ticket should only be used if your mobile phone is lost; damaged; or you otherwise delete the text message containing your ticket. The purchaser understands that both ticket forms contain the same barcode number. That number is only valid for a single entry. Alternatively, you may go to the box office at the stadium and your order can be verified through your credit card number, the ticket(s) will be reprinted on the spot without penalty.
