MLB Network Studio Analyst

Mitch Williams, an 11-year Major League veteran, is an MLB Network analyst, regularly appearing on programming, including MLB Tonight and Hot Stove.

Known for his unorthodox release of the baseball, Williams is remembered as "Wild Thing," a nickname he acquired while playing with the Cubs. During his Major League career, Williams earned 192 saves and posted a career 3.65 ERA with the Rangers (1986-88), Cubs (1989-90), Phillies (1991-93), Astros (1994), Angels (1995) and Royals (1997). He was a member of the 1989 National League All-Star team as well as the 1993 National League Champion Phillies.

Williams has contributed to FOX's pregame and post-game coverage during the MLB regular season and Postseason, in addition to hosting a weekly radio show, "Remember When" on Sirius/XM, a one-hour pregame radio show, "The Wild Pitch," on Philadelphia's 1210-WPHT.

Before joining MLB Network, Williams was a post-game analyst on Comcast Sportsnet's "Phillies Post-Game Live," contributing analyst for TBS' baseball coverage, and a contributor to 610-WIP's Angelo Cataldi and The Morning Team in Philadelphia.
