DENVER - With the Colorado Rockies hosting their NL West foes, the Los Angeles Dodgers, Coors Field will be the place to celebrate all of your July 4th activities. From pregame to postgame, the Rockies will have an array of planned activities for individuals and families looking to have a great night at the ballpark.

Tickets remaining for the July 3rd and July 4th games are a limited number of Standing Room Only (SRO) and single seats. The SRO tickets are located in the new Coors Field Rooftop. Remaining tickets can be purchased online at Rockies.com, the Coors Field Ticket Office, any of the Rockies Dugout Stores or by calling (303) Rockies.

JULY 4TH ACTIVITIES

LHP Jorge De La Rosa (8-6, 4.86) vs. LHP Clayton Kershaw (9-2, 2.04)

  • Pregame
    • Select Rockies Season Ticket Holders will unfold a large 150'x75' United States Flag in centerfield
    • The Rooftop will have the Rockies Hot Dog Eating Contest Finals
      • Each month on $1 Dog days, Hot Dog Eating Contests were held on The Rooftop with the winners advancing to tonight's final for a chance to win an autographed Todd Helton jersey
    • Major League Baseball and its 30 clubs will pay special tribute to Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig on the 75th Anniversary of his iconic "Luckiest Man" speech (more information in attached MLB News Release).
      • The Rockies will conduct a special on-field ceremony recognizing local community members afflicted with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), in addition to commemorating Gehrig's speech via a video tribute on the scoreboard
  • Ceremonial First Pitch

      • Stationed at Naval Information Operations Command (NIOC), Buckley Air Force Base (AFB)

  • Postgame
    • FIREWORKS will commence approximately 25 minutes following final out of Rockies vs. Dodgers
    • The Fireworks show on July 4th is presented by Coca-Cola & King Soopers

Please Note: The Rockies will also have a fireworks show presented by Lockheed Martin following the Rockies vs. Dodgers game on July 3rd. First pitch is scheduled for 6:10 p.m. with the fireworks beginning approximately 25 minutes following the final out.

The Colorado Rockies will wrap up a four-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers with games on July 5th and 6th. Both games have a scheduled first pitch of 2:10 p.m. with great seats still available. On Saturday (July 5), LHP Yohan Flande (0-1, 6.10) squares off against RHP Dan Haren (8-4, 3.57) with the series finale on Sunday (July 6) seeing the match up of LHP Christian Friedrich (0-3, 9.45) and RHP Josh Beckett (5-5, 2.37).
