The 28th Carpenter Cup Classic began today. The Carpenter Cup Classic showcases the top high school baseball players in the tri-state area of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

Catcher Andrew Knapp, selected by the Phillies in the second round (53rd overall) of the 2013 First-Year Player Draft, has agreed to terms with the club, Marti Wolever, Assistant General Manager, Amateur Scouting, announced today.
