  • Homestand highlights (Friday, July 15-Sunday, July 24, 2016)

    Fresh off the All-Star break, the Cardinals start the second half of the season at Busch Stadium with a ten game homestand. The homestand starts with three games versus the Miami Marlins (July 15-17), continues with four games against the San Diego Padres (July 18-21) and concludes with three games versus the Los Angeles Dodgers (July 22-24). The homestand is highlighted by the 2006 World Series Anniversary Weekend, Mizzou Night, Stars Wars Night, a Turn Back The Clock game and a Matt Holliday bobblehead promotional giveaway.

  • Cardinals activate LHP Kevin Siegrist

    The St. Louis Cardinals announced today they have activated left-hander pitcher Kevin Siegrist from the 15-day disabled list and optioned right-handed pitcher Sam Tuivailala to Triple-A Memphis.

  • Cardinals disable All-Star Matt Carpenter

    The St. Louis Cardinals announced prior to today's game that they have placed All-Star infielder Matt Carpenter (right oblique strain) on the 15-day disabled list and purchased the contract of catcher Michael McKenry from Memphis (AAA).

  • Brayan Peña placed on the 15-day disabled list

    Prior to tonight's game, the St. Louis Cardinals placed catcher Brayan Peña on the 15-day disabled list today with left knee inflammation. Rookie catcher Alberto Roasrio has been purchased from Triple-A Memphis and is expected to be available for tonight's contest. Rosario will wear uniform No. 68.

  • Brandon Moss placed on the 15-day disabled list

    Moss is leading the team with 17 home runs (T12th in the National League) and has driven in 40 runs, fifth-most on the team. He has appeared in 75 games and since June 1 is batting .307 (27-88) with eight home runs, 16 RBI and a .705 slugging pct.
