Almost 20,000 fans attend A's FanFest

OAKLAND, Calif. - Almost 20,000 fans attended A's FanFest, the team announced today. The event was presented by Comcast SportsNet California.  

Attendees at A's FanFest included manager Bob Melvin and his coaching staff; current players Yoenis Céspedes, Jesse Chavez, Ryan Cook, Coco Crisp, Josh Donaldson, Sean Doolittle, Chris Gimenez, Craig Gentry, Sonny Gray, John Jaso, Jim Johnson, Tommy Milone, Derek Norris, Eric O'Flaherty, Dan Otero, Jarrod Parker, Drew Pomeranz, Nick Punto, Eric Sogard, Dan Straily and Stephen Vogt; and former players from the A's 1974 and 1989 World Series champion teams, including Vida Blue, Ray Fosse, Gene Tenace, Dave Henderson and Tony Phillips.

The event featured free autograph sessions with current and former A's players, photo opportunities with players and the A's four World Series trophies, presented by Grant Thornton LLP; tours of the A's clubhouse; the Comcast SportsNet sportscaster experience; the first opportunity to sign up for the 2014 A's Kids Club; a memorabilia sale, with proceeds benefiting the A's Community Fund; various coaching clinics; and much more.
