Lowrie day to day with neck strain

CLEVELAND -- Oakland shortstop Jed Lowrie left Sunday's 13-3 win over Cleveland with a neck strain.
Lowrie will be evaluated, but he will travel with the team to St. Petersburg for the series with the Rays and is considered day to day.
"Hopefully, it's feeling better after tomorrow," Lowrie said.
Lowrie played only one inning in the field, being replaced by Nick Punto in the middle of the second inning.
"I was warming up before the game, throwing, and it tightened up," said Lowrie. "I went out for my first at-bat and couldn't turn my neck all the way to see the pitcher."
In that at-bat, Lowrie grounded into a double play, after Coco Crisp walked to lead off the game.
