Altitude adjustment: 6-foot-11 Rauch retires 5-foot-5 Altuve

Not since Muggsy Bogues posted up Shawn Bradley have we seen a height difference quite like Tuesday's Jon Rauch-Jose Altuve showdown.

Rauch, listed at 6-foot-11, is the tallest player in MLB history. The 5-foot-5 Altuve isn't exactly Eddie Gaedel, but he's the shortest big leaguer since at least 1999.
