Thank you for your interest in our A's Amigos program. A's Amigos is an outreach
program targeting our community's Spanish speaking children by giving them interaction
with bilingual, Spanish-speaking Oakland A's players.
This one-on-one program lets kids get up close and personal in the A's dugout with an
A's player prior to selected games. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST speak Spanish and
will be given a chance to learn about the value of sportsmanship, teamwork and hard
work as well as identify with the players as role models. Only 15 people will be allowed
on to the field.
Applications must be received at least one month prior to
game date. Please note that this is only a request for participation. Due to the nature of the A's Amigos program, we must limit the number of participants to 15 people that are allowed on the field.
