Oakland A's Booster Club

Brodie Brazil, Channel 36 reporter, interviewing A's catcher Kurt Suzuki.
The Oakland A's Booster Club is an organization of fans dedicated to supporting and promoting the Oakland Athletics baseball team, with a mission of raising funds to support charities associated with Oakland Athletics Community Fund.

The Booster Club has a monthly luncheon during the baseball season at Francesco's Restaurant in Oakland. Invited are a player and/or coach as well as an MC. Past MC's have been Robert Buan of the A's post-game show, Ken Korach, A's announcer, Vince Cotroneo, A's announcer, and Marty Lurie, Right off the Bat, A's pre-game show.

The Booster Club goes to Spring Training as a group and often takes trips to outside ballparks. The Booster Club also makes discounted Field Level tickets available and has tailgates before selected Sunday home games. In short, the Booster Club has a lot of fun.
