The Northern California Cancer Center (NCCC) is a nationally recognized leader in community-based cancer research and education. NCCC is dedicated to understanding who gets cancer and why, how to detect and treat it, and how to improve the quality of life of individuals living with cancer. In addition to its research and education programs, NCCC operates the nine-county Greater Bay Area Cancer Registry, the statewide Cancer Information Service (1-800-4-CANCER), Cancer Detection Programs: Every Woman Counts (1-800-511-2300) and a Smoking Cessation help line (1-877-44U-QUIT or 1-877-448-7848).
