Rising Stars
The Rising Stars program recognizes outstanding high school juniors and seniors in the Bay Area for their hard work on and off the field. Five student athletes will be honored in the 2006 season during an on-field presentation before select A's home games.
2006 Rising Stars:
May Recipients: Andrew Rogers, Healdsburg High School
Ella-Pauline Franklin, Skyline High School
June Recipient: De'Andre Cherry, Oakland Technical High School
July Recipient: Michael McNeece, Benecia High School
August Recipient: Kristina Punwani, Irvington High School
Applications for 2007 will be available in February 2007.
