Come to the Oakland Coliseum on Sunday, August 16 as the A's Turn Back The Clock 80 years to celebrate the anniversary of the 1929 Philadelphia A's World Series Championship. The 1929 Philadelphia A's, lead by manager Connie Mack, defeated the Chicago Cubs in 5 games. The A's featured future Hall of Fame ballplayers Mickey Cochrane, Jimmy Foxx, Lefty Grove, and Al Simmons.
On Sunday August 16, the A's and Chicago White Sox will wear 1929 uniforms and the first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive a Turn Back The Clock Replica Jersey, presented by Cache Creek Casino Resort.
