Comcast Cable Customers in the Bay Area:
Comcast SportsNet California is located on Comcast Digital Cable channel 89 (721 in HD) in the Bay Area. If you are an existing Standard Cable customer, you will need to add a digital box by upgrading to Digital Starter at no additional cost*.
You must have a Comcast Digital Cable receiver to receive channel 89. You can get your digital box for FREE by stopping by your local Comcast store. Or if you prefer, you can request the box be mailed to your home or you can schedule a technician to come to your home for a minimal installment fee. Call 1-800-COMCAST for details.
Comcast Cable Customers in the Central Valley: Communities with Comcast SportsNet California on Expanded Basic (primarily in Central California) will not be affected and as such will continue to view Comcast SportsNet California on its existing channel location (ch. 34 in most areas).
I'm a Comcast Cable customer with Standard Cable. Will upgrading to Digital Starter cost me more money?*
NO. There is no additional fee for upgrading from Comcast's Standard package to Digital Starter*.

What's the difference between Comcast Standard Cable and Digital Starter?

Yes, you need Digital equipment on additional TVs in your home to view the A's on channel 89. Once you upgrade to Digital Starter, in addition to your digital receiver, you are entitled to up to two Digital Adaptors at no additional cost, including two additional remotes. What if I have more than 3 TV's?

I live in Sacramento. When a Kings game is on, what channel number can I find the A's?
When there is a conflicting Kings game airing on Comcast SportsNet California's main channel, A's games will be available in the Sacramento region on Comcast SportsNet Plus.
Are A's games going to be available via On Demand?
A's games, including select games in HD, will be available on Comcast Digital Cable On Demand for approximately 24 hours after the conclusion of the game. There will also be additional programming and exclusive features available On Demand during the season.
