The 14th Annual Oakland A's MUG Root Beer Float Day will take place on Wednesday, June 26 from 10:35 a.m. to 12:35 p.m. in the Eastside Club at the O.co Coliseum. A's players, A's coaches, local celebrities, and radio and television personalities will be serving fans delicious MUG Root Beer floats and Orange Crush floats for $2 each. Sugar free floats will also be available. A limited supply of 32 oz. mugs signed by Ryan Cook will be available for $25, which includes unlimited refills. For $15 fans can purchase a 32 oz. mug, non-autographed, with unlimited refills. Additional funds will be raised through "tips" given in exchange for celebrity scooper's autographs and photos. Proceeds from MUG Root Beer Float Day benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Admission is free with a game ticket to that afternoon's game against the Cincinnati Reds. MUG Root Beer Float Day is presented by Pepsi. Ice cream for the event is donated by Dreyer's.
