Little League fun takes place on two (2) separate game days. Starting with a morning Little League Fest, participants enjoy interactive games and sponsor booths. A pre-game parade around the playing field is held for all participating Little Leaguers and their coaches.
Bay Area sports and media celebrities are invited to serve floats to fans prior to a game. Celebrity scoopers compete for tips by signing autographs and taking photos. All proceeds benefit a charity.
Over 20 different microbrews are available for sampling fun. This event takes place in the East Side Club and admission is free with a game ticket. Samplings and souvenir beer mugs are available for purchase. Live music entertains guests.
Corporate clients and supporters are invited to play a round of golf with A's players, coaches and front office staff. A reception is held immediately following the tournament, with a raffle and auction as part of the fun.
Since 1999, the A's have raised money for breast cancer research and education. Each year the A's raise over $100,000 through corporate sponsorship support, event pin sales, caps sales, and a raffle of a custom designed quilt that includes the signature and photo of every A's player and coach. The fundraising effort culminates with a special day honoring breast cancer survivors and educating fans about breast cancer research.
