2009 A's Season Ticket Policies and Procedures

TICKET SERVICES HOURS
The Ticket Services Office at the Coliseum, located across from the Arena Box Office, is open Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm during the season. On game days the Ticket Services Office is open three hours prior to game time and remains open until the middle of the 7th inning. The Office can be accessed from both the outside of the Coliseum and inside the Coliseum by walking up the ramp directly behind Section 120 or 113.

To make changes on your account, purchase tickets or parking passes, or for general information, Season Ticket Holders can call(510) 568-5600. The phone lines are open Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm. You may also email us at tickets@oaklandathletics.com, or visit our blog at ticketservices.mlblogs.com.

EXCHANGE PROGRAMS
(Not applicable to Premium Seating Accounts)
Starting April 1, 2009, you will be allowed to exchange your 2009 season tickets for different games or for credit to your season ticket account to be used in the 2009 season. The Oakland A's offer multiple programs to guarantee full usage of your season tickets. These exchange programs will afford you maximum flexibility during the season.

  • Advance Ticket Exchange
    Return future tickets to games you cannot attend 48 hours prior to the date and time printed on the tickets beginning April 1, 2009. The A's must physically receive the actual ticket. You may not return tickets for any game that is an announced sellout.

    Select the game you wish to attend (tickets subject to availability), or exchange these future tickets for a credit towards ticket purchases during the 2009 regular season only (only applies if tickets are received 48 hours prior to game). Once you decide on the game you wish to attend, simply call the A's direct ticket line exclusive for Season Ticket Holders, at (510) 568-5600, or stop by the A's Ticket Services Office at the Coliseum.

*** PLEASE NOTE ***

  • No credits will be applied to subsequent seasons or to postseason ticket purchases.
  • Credits may not be redeemed for the purchase of DIAMOND LEVEL OR FIELD BOX SEATING.
  • Credits may not be used and tickets cannot be exchanged for tickets to the following games: Opening Night, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, San Francisco Giants and all Fireworks Nights.
  • Season Tickets are non-refundable.
  • Diamond Level, Field Box and Luxury Suite tickets are non-exchangeable.
  • Future game season tickets can be applied toward Luxury Suite purchases. The credit is valid during the 2009 regular season and suites are subject to availability. Phone the A's Luxury Suite Office at (510) 563-2330 to coordinate.

Tickets may be exchanged in person at the Oakland A's Ticket Services Office or by mailing to: The Oakland A's Ticket Office, P.O. Box 2220, Oakland, CA 94621. Reminder: The Oakland A's must receive the tickets you are exchanging at least 48 hours prior to the date printed on the original tickets. The A's are not responsible for tickets lost in the mail. The A's recommend that you send your tickets certified mail to: The Oakland A's Ticket Office, 7000 Coliseum Way, Oakland, CA 94621.

Unused Ticket Exchange Programs (not applicable to Premium Seating Accounts)
Season Ticket Holders can redeem "Expired Tickets" at no charge from 2009 games that have already been played.

All Season Ticket Holders may redeem your unused 2009 season tickets for the following games*:

  • Tuesday, May 12 @ 7:05pm v. Kansas City Royals
  • Thursday, June 11 @ 12:35pm v. Minnesota Twins
  • Thursday, July 16 @ 7:05pm v. Los Angeles Angels
  • Friday, August 14 @ 7:05pm v. Chicago White Sox
  • Friday, September 4 @ 7:05pm v. Seattle Mariners
  • Tuesday, September 22 @ 7:05pm v. Texas Rangers
*Dates and Times of games are subject to change.

Tickets for these games can be exchanged for Field Level, Plaza Level, or Plaza Outfield seats regardless of original location and are subject to availability.

All Season Ticket Holders may participate in our "Extra Innings" program
As part of the A's "Extra Innings" program, you may redeem your unused tickets, "Expired Tickets," from past 2009 games for a half-price ticket to a future game. This offer is valid for the following seating levels: Field Level, Plaza Infield, Plaza Level, or Plaza Outfield seats. Plaza Infield seats are $15.00, Field Level are $13.00, Plaza Level seats are $12.00 and Plaza Outfield seats are $9.00. The reissued ticket can be exchanged into any area offered, regardless of original Season Ticket location. This offer is valid to any Monday through Thursday A's regular season home game except the following games: San Francisco Giants, Boston Red Sox, and New York Yankees. Tickets are subject to availability. Tickets may be exchanged in person at the A's Ticket Services Office or by mail. All ticket exchanges that are received via mail within one week of the game you wish to attend will be held at Will Call under the name of the account holder.

My A's Tickets Online Account Management
The internet-based feature, "My A's Tickets" provides all Season Ticket Holders the flexibility to manage their season tickets. "My A's Tickets" is found online here. Your initial login is your season ticket account number and your password is your account zip code. "My A's Tickets" allows all Season Ticket Holders the ability to edit their account information, purchase season ticket plan reservations, purchase postseason ticket reservations and transfer season tickets to any party with A's Ticket Transfer.

Pre-Paid Parking
Only Full Season Ticket holders who purchased the VIP parking are guaranteed parking spaces for A's only events. For A's games that feature an additional event at the Oracle Arena, it is recommended that you arrive early to ensure a parking space. The A's do not have parking autonomy at such events. Partial Season Ticket holders are able to purchase discounted parking, but are not guaranteed a space with pre-paid parking passes. For sold out games, it is recommended that you arrive early to ensure a parking space. Parking is non-refundable and non-exchangeable. There is only one stall permitted per parking pass.

OAKLAND A'S TICKET REOFFER POLICY

  • You will be charged full face value to reissue your tickets if they are lost, destroyed, or left at home.
  • The A's reserve the right to charge an additional $5 service charge per reissued ticket.
  • If your tickets are stolen, the charge will be waived if you present a valid police report.
  • Tickets can only be reissued to the identified account holder in the Ticket Services Office with valid identification. It is the sole responsibility of the ticket holder to maintain awareness of their tickets.

ADDITIONAL TICKET POLICY REMINDERS

  • Once a Season Ticket or Expired Ticket has been exchanged for a future game, it cannot be re-exchanged.
  • Additional individual tickets, including Pre-On sale Tickets, are not exchangeable.
  • "My A's Tickets" does not allow the ability to exchange season tickets for other games, only transfer or sale, if applicable.
  • Once a ticket is transferred or sold via "My A's Tickets" it cannot be overturned.
  • The Season Ticket Holder discount does not apply to additional individual ticket purchases.
  • Fielder's Choice plans must consist of 22 games and are not available in the MVP price level.
  • Non-Grand Slam plan cannot be upgraded into the MVP price level.
  • Only Grand Slam plans are sold in the MVP price level.
  • Hit & Run and Sac Fly plans cannot be guaranteed their regular location for Opening Night.
  • Diamond Level and Field Box tickets cannot be used as part of the Unused Ticket Policy.
  • Prepaid parking passes are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
  • Tickets purchased via the Season Ticket Holder Hotline can only be left in Will Call under the account holder's name.
