On May 13, 2013, more than 1,000 VIP guests, including the Toronto Blue Jays, took the field at Rogers Centre for the annual Curve Ball in support of children and youth in need across Canada. The 2013 edition was a resounding success, raising close to $950,000!
On May 15, 2013 Blue Jays fans across the country tuned into the Sportsnet Charity Broadcast Auction presented by TD. They entered the All Access Contest, purchased Fan Packs and bid on exclusive Blue Jays experiences with the goal of removing barriers to sport & education. The evening was a huge success, raising more than $172,000!
Swing for the fences and compete for the ultimate title of Home Run Derby Champion! This year, the Roberto Alomar & Friends Charity Home Run Derby will be hosted at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Nat Bailey Stadium in Vancouver & Seaman Stadium in Calgary.
Last year's Derbies raised a total of $185,000 for Jays Care!
Don't forget to come out to the Blue Jays game at Rogers Centre on September 29, 2013 and purchase Blue Jays swag, game-used equipment, autographed memorabilia, and more, all at great price!
